The objectives of our organization are:
To encourage complete cessation of tobacco smoking in Africa
To promote and facilitate information sharing on tobacco harm reduction in Africa
To conduct research on safer nicotine alternatives and policy in Africa
To engage in research into tobacco smoking cessation aids, tobacco smoking cessation strategies, and tobacco harm reduction strategies
To strengthen the capacities of individuals and consumer advocacy organizations involved in tobacco harm reduction in Africa
To discourage the use of all electronic cigarettes and safer nicotine alternatives by non-smokers and minors
To mobilize and facilitate access to financial, human and technical resources required for tobacco harm reduction in Africa
To collaborate with other individuals and organizations in Africa to further these objectives

To improve public health by educating the African public on the health, financial and social consequences of tobacco smoking, tobacco related harm, and evidence-based strategies to quit tobacco smoking and for tobacco harm reduction
To promote and advocate for regional and national legislative and regulatory frameworks favorable for tobacco harm reduction and safer nicotine products in Africa
To disseminate accurate evidence-based information in relation to alternative nicotine products to alleviate widespread misperceptions of the public and health professionals about nicotine and safer nicotine products which are undermining their potential as a tobacco harm reduction strategy
